ArcSDE 9.3.1 do not work with Oracle 11gR2 (64 Bit)
During the R&D activities last week we came across a situation in which we were trying to install ArcSDE 9.3.1 for Oracle 11g-R2 (64 bit) on Linux Red Hat (5.3, x64). This combination is possible by the information published on this URL on ESRI website:

We also came across an article published on ArcGIS website which indicates that the above composition is not possible. The reference to the aricale is as under:

My question is that: The second URL indicates that this incompatibility is for Windows 2003 and 2008. Is that true for Linux 5.3 as well
